Just Aircraft was at the show with their Super STOL light sport aircraft, which they had introduced at Airventure 2012. The Super STOL is a side-by-side seating two-seat aircraft. It is a taildragger featuring standard stick and rudder controls. It has a large storage area behind the seats, which can actually be used for sleeping in when the seats are folded down. The Super STOL is powered by the Rotax 912 ULS, in a tractor figuration.

The Super STOL has been in development for a number of years. It is a purpose built aircraft providing short takeoff and landing capabilities. To achieve this Just Aircraft has specifically designed the aircraft with a wing which features automatic leading-edge slats, larger ailerons, flaps and a larger rudder, stabilizer and elevator.

The Super STOL has also been designed with a special suspension system which uses a stronger and wider landing gear than the basic Just Aircraft Highlander. The suspension system uses a shock absorber on the main gear which has a 12 inch travel, as well as a shock absorber system on the tail wheel which travels about 4 inches. In addition to the shock absorber The Super STOL also uses large Alaska Bush wheel tires inflated to about 8 psi.

According to Just Aircraft's Troy Woodland this allows the pilot to pull the power back to idle, will the joystick back to stop and descend to the ground at a rate of 750 to 900 ft./m. On touchdown the suspension system absorbs the shock of the landing, and lowers the center of gravity of the aircraft, allowing the pilot to apply brakes and land in very short fields.

Troy demonstrated this at Sun N Fun over and over again to the amazement of the crowds lining the side of the runway. At about 500 feet Troy would pull the power back to idle, pull the joystick back to it stops and descend almost like a parachute and come in for a landing. The Super STOL would hit the ground, shock absorbers would collapse and as they did Troy would apply the brakes and then as the shock absorbers rebounded he would come to a stop and pull off to the side of the runway.

Just Aircraft has produced just over 300 aircraft to date. Currently orders For the Just Aircraft Super STOL are about 10 to 1 versus the Highlander. With the popularity of the Super STOL Just Aircraft has decided to offer a retrofit kit for pilots wishing to update their aircraft to the new style of wing and suspension system. According to Troy once a customer has completed the building of the new wing and suspension it takes about a week to install the modifications.
