| Eric Adams of WildAir Aviation was in the
Paradise City section of Sun N Fun 2013. Eric has been
representing the Fisher Flying Products line of all wood
aircraft kits for a number of years now. Eric is based at
the Sun N Fun Campus so he didn't have far to go to display
his wares. WildAir aviation runs a full time flight school
and light sport aircraft repair center. The Fisher line of
aircraft covers the full range of aircraft starting from
true part 103 ultralights right on up to WWI replicas. Fisher also produces a number of biplanes in both single and two seat versions. They also produce aircraft in both a tandem seating configuration as well as side by side. All of these aircraft can be flown by a sport pilot as they meet the weight and stall speeds of a light sport aircraft. 5 models of the Fisher can be built as part 103 ultralight aircraft. Fisher Flying Products kits start at a price of $8500. which includes the engine and prop! One of their two place side by side seating aircraft, the Dakota Hawk which has folding wings was built by a customer for $25,000 which included the price of a used aircraft engine! First time builders can expect to spend around 750 hours to finish of a Dakota Hawk and about 350 hours to finish off one of the single seat aircraft.
