Light Sport Aircraft Pilot is a directory of aircraft that generally fit

weight shift aircraft, more commonly known as trikes,

The Quasar lightsport aircraft is manufactured in
Brazil. It is powered by the HKS 700 E 60 HP 4 stroke twin
cylinder aircraft engine. The Quasar Lite is a side by side
seating two place aircraft. It features a composite
fuselage, with aluminum wings and tail section.
Current models feature a
dacron covered tail, but the company indicates this will be
changing to composite in the near future. The craft has a 20
gallon fuel capacity, cruises at over 115 mph, climbs out at
700 ft per minute all on about 2.5 gallons of fuel per hour. |
